The new HRMS, HR Access, is a mainframe application with an appreciably different physical and functional structure from the existing HRMS system (Oracle). As part of this implementation, the practice will evaluate and modify existing business processes to enhance the HR Payroll product offering. Additionally, new processes will need to be added due to the new HRMS system. Existing interface, client facing systems and system-to-system processes are also being evaluated. The intent is for HR Payroll to deliver these new and modified interfaces as Business Object Services (a Producer Service Tier). The scope of the CCR project is to develop the Customs Compliance System (CCS) to meet the regulatory requirements for Canadian Customs import and conveyance reporting in an operationally effective manner. Different types of users will use the application and privileges must be limited to according to roles. The system must be integrated to with Saga. It must be easy to administer and must adhere to WWL software and infrastructure standards..

Contribution

 Actively involved in design and implementation of PL/SQL constructs for the IMPORT and FROB Modules.

 Involved in design and creation of Database schema objects and product’s architecture proposal.

POEMS (Port of Order Entry Management System)

This project is done for PAG, Japan a subsidiary of Ford Motor company, involved in importing and distributing Ford brand cars into Japan. This project is to manage the activities in receiving the cars in Port, performing various activities like custom clearance, vehicle inspection, repair works, storage and finally dispatching them to the dealers in Japan. The project features accessing using Hand held devices for mobile, on-the-spot vehicle inspection. User Interface is designed with both Japanese and English Languages. We split up the project as Setup, Port Activity, Vehicle Activity, Parking, Maintenance, Warranty and Admin modules. The application design is based on MVC pattern involving best of the J2EE design patterns.

Contribution

 Actively involved in analysis and implementation in Parts Management and Reports modules.

 Also involved in validation using the tool Test Director 8.0.
